CLASSES & WORKSHOPS - Baptiste Method Yoga with Weights ™ System Classes are Taught by Sherri Baptiste, Megan Scott and other Baptiste Method Yoga with Weights™ Teachers.
![]() 2009 San Francisco Bay Area: Yoga with Weights integrates breath based yoga postures, working out with lightweight (3 to 5 pounds) ankle and/or hand-held (1 to 3 pounds for women; 3 to 5 pounds for men) free weights. Please bring your own yoga mat and weights. The weights stabilize your body and encourage you to feel the action of the yoga practice. The exercises synchronize the balance of strength and grace, and stability and flexibility, so that your entire body is engaged in a challenging and exciting new way. Yoga with Weights exercise is supportive in building core stability, bone density, and balance while stimulating muscle toning, strength, and coordination.

How to do it Perform one set of the indicated reps of each pose three times a week, resting 48 hours between sessions.
